The MPR Reader is a portable battery-powered device that reads ID numbers from compatible electronic identification tags.
In addition to displaying ID codes, the MPR Reader can store up to 1000 ID codes, transmit ID codes to a computer or printer via an RS232 port, and check an ID code to see if it has already been scanned into reader memory.Portability: Because of its compact and lightweight design, the MPR Reader can be easily carried anywhere ID numbers need to be read.
ID code storage: The MPR Reader can store up to 1000 ID codes. This feature lets you read ID codes in the field, store them in reader memory and process them later after you've returned to the office.
Computer/printer interface capability: By sending data via its RS232 port, the MPR Reader can transfer ID codes to a variety of external computers and printers.
Power Source: Rechargeable battery pack
Beeper: A beeper sounds each time an ID number is read
Search Capability: The MPR Reader allows you to check a scanned ID number against numbers already stored to see if it has already been scanned into memory.
Automatic shutdown: The reader automatically shuts down when left unused for one minute. This feature prolongs battery life.
